EXCITED AND NERVOUS!!! FROG FINDS HOME< DRAGON NEEDS ONE NOW!!!
8/8/08!

This Saturday will be my 4th anniversary with my fiance, and because of financial matter with my sons medication...we can't get married because my son needs about 700 dollars a month in medication and even more in doctors and therapy, and he receives state medical. If we get married, the state will take my husbands income into the mix and they will drop the insurance. In the meantime, my fiances job does not acknowledge step children for insurance. My son's father is supposed to cover his insurance, and up until now he has not been able to do it because he has not had insurance coverage through his job. HOWEVER...now, his father is in the Army Reserves and is going to be stationed in Oklahoma and will be able to have my son insured. It won't be fully covered, but we hope enough tom finally get married! I have also hit my "donut hole" in my prescription care and have to pay the next $3,000 out of pocket for my meds before catastrophic starts for me!

So, here is our story: I was an explorer (a firefighter in training, but not old enough to be one) at the Mill Creek Fire Company in Wilmington Delaware. It was like 24 guys and me. They were all very sweet, and I there met a guy named Rob Morgan III. The more he got to know me, the more he found that I had way too much in common with his best friend Fred Toney III. One night, Rob told me to call his house, he had someone I should talk to. After 8 hours of talking and laughing, Fred and I exchanged phone numbers. Every night that week we talked all night long, rarely slept, had to maintain in school just so we could get home and talk for another 12 hours. Fred asked me on a blind date and the spark lit into a flame. We dated for about 6 months, and things happened to separate us for a while. 4 Years later, we met again, dated for a month and he let me know he had feelings for a friend of his, he had since high school, so we went our separate ways again. Through the years, I never forgot him, the night of our first date was the night of my 1st kiss, and it is to this day the most special kiss I have ever had.

Skip to 4 years ago, 15 odd years later. I had been through 2 failed marriages, found out I was disabled with a debilitating hereditary neurological disorder that will only get worse, given birth to a beautiful son that has severe ADHD, bi-polar and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and was now in an abusive relationship. One night while my boyfriend was downstairs drunk and tearing up my house, my son and I were locked in my bedroom to be sure he did not hurt us, and I decided to clean my closet. I don't know why, my son was sleeping and I just thought it would keep my mind off of everything. While cleaning I found 3 love letters and a poem Fred had written me way back in high school, and as I was the chairperson for my class reunion, I belonged to Classmates.com. What the hell! I checked his high school page to see if he was listed, and lo and behold, there he was! I emailed, he emailed me back, and this Saturday February 9th will be the 4th anniversary of the night I emailed him!

HERE IS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

We are planning to get married 6 months from our 4th anniversary on August 9th. We are shooting for getting married the day before...it will be 8/8/08!

Because he has been faved a lot and he was my 1st creation, not to mention it has a huge meaning in this all, I want to see what I can do similar to the red paper clip thing. Because this, the smallest of my Wendy's Zany Zoo collection is a frog that is willing to do anything for kisses, anything to be with his one true love, and has kissed a lot of wrong ones to find her, it really signifies the way our relationship has been. I have found, again for the final time (LOL) my price, my knight in rusty armor, I need to find the money to marry this beloved man in a time where money is scarce.

UPDATE!!!! MY FROGGIE HAS A HOME AND THE 1ST TRADE IS COMPLETE! HAS TRADED WITH ME FOR ONE OF HER BEAUTIFUL SOFT SCULPTED DRAGONS. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE:



She is also making us a dragon and unicorn set like this for our wedding in our colors! This new dragon is the 2nd in the trade chain. Please let me know if anyone has anything they would love to trade up for it that you feel would help us get bigger trades. We are working up to a wedding, so we need all the generosity we can get. I have dedicated my life to being the go to girl for everyone. If anyone ever needed a friend, I was there. If I had money or anything I could donate, even just a hug, I have always been there. I have my annual holiday party to raise donations for the local Dumpster Cats, I ask for clothing and toy donations every Christmas and clean everything and donate it all to a local womens shelter. I have donated my time as a Cub Scout Den Mother. I have even grown out my hair and donated between 10 and 12 inches of my hair 4 times to Locks of Love...an organization that makes wigs for childhood leukemia patients. I have most recently made and donated one of my signature hand painted tea lights to a local family that has a therapeutic horse farm for Extreme Home Makeover , and even closer to home, here on DA, I have joined 2 Random Acts of Kindness clubs and given money to a fellow deviant to help rescue animals and paid for a few commissions of people in need.

Now, where I have a hard time asking for help, because I love to give, but have a hard time asking for help. When I awaited my Social Security ruling for 3 years, I almost lost my home, I sold things in my house on the weekends to put food on the table for myself and my son. Things worked out then, but I would like to open my heart and ask all deviants everywhere to help me.

I am not begging for money, but what I am doing is asking for a couple things.

1~ I would like to have you all pass this along and encourage people to pass it along. Word of mouth over the internet moves fast!

2~ I want to see if I can either trade my little frog up or auction him off to come up with the money to have my wedding, this includes everything from a dress, flowers, cake and place to have it right down to flying my fiances 2 sons in from Texas to be a part of their fathers first and only wedding!

3~ In all of this, I am hoping to promote RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS everywhere. If you have a way to help like you know someone famous that would be interested in my plight, or my frog...if you could hold contests to help me out, do journals about this, you are a published artist and auction off something for this and even down to posting it on Youtube or any website you know of...please, I need your help.

Some people say that one person can't make a difference. I am reminded of the story of the man walking on the beach and watching a little girl throwing fish back into the water that washed up on the beach, only to have more wash up with the next wave. When he asked her why she was bothering, because it didn't seem to make a difference, she replied "It does to THAT one". With all the single grains of sand on a beach, it takes each and every one to make it a beach. I place my hopes and dreams for the wedding of a lifetime on my fellow deviants, and your ability to do some random acts of kindness for me. Please do whatever you can to help me out, I will do any and all commissions I can and all my stuff is for sale, but anything above and beyond you can do will help me out tremendously...and perhaps it will really put DA on the map!!!

Here is a list of the deviants that are helping me with my wedding plans to trade my "will pay for kisses for a wedding of a lifetime and a list of what I will need! EDIT: I found out that because my brother works for ACE Hardware, that if we find a place outside that he can get me all the tents, tables , chairs, bouncy house, popcorn machine... for free! That rocks!
