This is my entry into the s Flowers and unicorns contest. The back lavender pegacorn is my Almalphia, the golden unicorn is a sculpture I made for of her Gabriella and the white pegasus is another sculpture for her I made of her Illyria. I took this out front in a lovely bunch of lavender flowers, and thought about how these would all make fine friends. I wanted a few nice pics of them all together before the 2 have to get packaged up this week to go to their new home.
Almalphia~ Polymer Sculpy clay over wire and foil armature. Pink opalescent and lavender mix. Horn is glow Fimo clay. Her hair is a combo of purple and white yarn that is a blend of acrylic and mohair, and the hoof hair as well as the hair under her tail is a purple fringe yarn. He hooves are painted in acrylic...not that they can be seen here. Her wings are glitter felt, wire ribbon purple crushed velvet and Sworski (don't know how to spell it!) crystals, her eyes are iridescent beads.
Gabriella~ Gold Sculpy clay over an armature of foil and wire. Her mane and tail are a charcoal acrylic/mohair yarn blend with white threads throughout. her hooves are painted black acrylic with a coating of diamond glitter acrylic paint. horn is glo Fimo, and eyes are black iridescent beads. All of her legs and face/muzzle are painted with a wash of black acrylic paint as well
Illyria~ Same as Gabriella except done in white with grouse feather wings and blue irridescent bead eyes.
are those flowers in your garden, or are they house plants? if that's how nice it looks outside where you are, I'm jealous. it's disgusting out here...al wet and icky... grrr.
this is soooooo cute though!!!! they look so happy playing hehehe
